On May 22nd, a promotional event for�SMAP member�Katori Shingo's starring film,�'LOVE Masao-kun ga Iku!', was held at Osaka-jo Park. Actress Hirosue Ryoko and Love, the dog who plays Masao-kun in the film, also attended the event.
Over 60 owners and their dogs wore red bandannas while waiting for the cast at the park. When Masao-kun barked, the rest of the dogs howled in unison to welcome the stars.
At the event, Katori commented, "This is the Masao-kun that appears in the movie! Everyone, we'll be able to take a walk together today so I'm looking forward to it." Hirosue also said, "I know. You hardly get to experience something like this."
With Masao-kun taking the lead, the 60 owners and their dogs strutted across Osaka-jo Park as a large family.
'LOVE Masao-kun ga Iku!' will open in theaters on June 23rd.
