On May 8th, it was announced that singer MISIA will be singing the theme song for upcoming NHK drama 'Hatsukoi' which stars�Kimura Yoshino.

MISIA wrote "Koi wa Owaranai Zutto" (June 20th release) for this drama. The script writer is Nakazono Miho, and it is first time in 12 years MISIA has sung a theme song for Nakazono's drama, with the last being "Everything" for Fuji TV drama 'Yamato Nadeshiko' starring�Matsushima Nanako.

'Hatsukoi' is an adult love story, in which Kimura plays the role of Murakami Midori, who is a speech language therapist. Murakami is betrayed by Mishima (Ihara Tsuyoshi), who was Murakami's first love. Meeting Jun (Aoki Munetaka), she starts to leave behind the suffered first love. However she is diagnosed with liver cancer, and Mishima shows up again and tells her, "I came here to save your life".

MISIA commented, "I feel that the love experience, which is remembered and has a influence on life, will never disappear even you become separated from each other. After reading the script, I created this song with the theme 'never ending love'," and added, "I sing the song with the hope that it will sympathize with the drama and love."

'Hatsukoi' will start airing on May 22nd, every Tuesday at 10:00pm, for a total of eight episodes.

Additionally, MISIA will release a live DVD/Blu-ray on the same day "Koi wa Owaranai Zutto" for the nationwide tour 'THE TOUR OF MISIA JAPAN SOUL QUEST', which started in February 2011 and wrapped up in February 2012 at the Yokohama arena. It will comes in 3 versions: limited, regular and Blu-ray (June 27th release) editions.
