On May 25th, Moritaka Chisato kicked off her 25th anniversary project. So far, she's announced the launch of her official YouTube channel, digital releases, and a singles collection album!

Moritaka's project on YouTube called '200 Songs Self Cover Project' will feature video clips, live footage, and commentary videos. She plans to cover almost every song she's released from 1987 to 1999 as well as perform album songs, single coupling tracks, and CM songs that she's never sung before during lives and tv appearances.

Moritaka has also released all her singles, including "17sai", "Ame", "Watashi ga Obasan ni Natte mo", "Watarasebashi", "Watashi no Natsu", and "Kibun Soukai", in Chaku-Uta form for a limited time via Recochoku. Starting with this, Moritaka will gradually release her unreleased songs as well as video clips.

Additionally, Moritaka's single collection album, 'The Singles', will go on sale on August 8th. It will come as a 3-disc set, and this will be her first compilation album with all 45 singles. The limited edition will enclose a photo booklet with unpublished pictures.

And that's not all! This fall, Moritaka is scheduled to release an official commentary collection containing interviews from her 25 years and secrets of the birth of her hit songs. At the end of the year, an album box containing re-mastered albums and a bonus disc will hit stores. She also plans to release a Blu-Ray box set before May of 2013.
