On May 26th, singer-songwriter Oda Kazumasa wrapped up his nationwide tour, "KAZUMASA ODA TOUR 2012 'Domo Domo' Sono Hi ga Kuru Made", at Aka Renga Park in Yokohama.

The tour took an entire year to complete as it started in May of last year. Oda expressed, "For me, this was certainly the most meaningful and biggest tour. I'm glad I got to do it til the end." He also declared, "I made promises all over the country that I would definitely come back. So I must take my new songs and meet everyone as soon as possible!"

For this tour, Oda performed a total of 59 shows in 31 locations for over 740,000 people. In April and May, he got to perform in areas that were postponed due to the Tohoku Earthquake. He also stopped at 5 domes, making him the "the oldest solo artist to hold concerts at the domes".

Although Oda is known as an 'ame otoko' (a man whose presence brings rain), this day was blessed with good weather. The singer shared that it rained during his first outdoors live 30 years back, and said, "At that time, we didn't wear raincoats, so I had to use an umbrella. I never wanted to hold an outdoors live again." However, he explained, "Every year, I hold a countdown concert at Hakkeijima Island. It's so much fun to continue holding outdoors lives like this."

Oda sang 26 songs, mainly from his latest album, "Do-mo". He also did his customary sprint across the stage and called out to his fans, "Thank you!"

Regarding the concerts that were postponed because of the disasters, Oda commented, "The people in Tohoku were a lot warmer than I had imagined. Also, they warmly welcomed me." He continued, "I�believe that this country will recover, I want to continue supporting it."

Oda's concerts at Tokyo Dome, which were held on September 28th and 29th of last year, will broadcast via�WOWOW on June 24th from 9:00 PM.
