Earlier, weekly tabloid magazine 'FRIDAY' reported that Rola is dating comedian duo Cream Stew's Arita Teppei. On her official blog, Rola denied the reports saying, "Arita-san, he's not my boyfriend, but he's my friend~. Of course not. lol."

Regarding the photo of the two leaving Arita's apartment, Rola stated, "Somehow, a picture was published on FRIDAYo(^o^)o How embarrassing~." She also commented on the picture of herself with a mask, "It's kind of like an alien~."

Rola was also seen visiting Arita's apartment several days in a row. She explained, "With Zagiyama-san, Kinpira Gobou-san, and a friend, the 4 of us often play a game called Minna no Golf. This day, Kinpira-san was also with us. We're good friends o(^?^)o."

Rola concluded, "If I ever get a boyfriend, I will properly report it to everybody. I would never lie to everyone."
