Rock band HY's Nakasone Izumi (Vo, Key, Cho) has announced that she is currently 5-months pregnant!

Through the band's official website, Nakasone wrote, "I wanted to directly tell everyone earlier, but there were all kinds of things I was anxious about such as the live performances and entering a stable pregnancy period. So I decided to do it after we peacefully finished the tour."

She continued, "Hereafter, I will think about my child, and will be refraining from live performances for the time being. But as HY, I plan to move forward without coming to a stop."

In related news, HY will release their live DVD, "HY TI-CHI TA-CHI MI-CHI PARADE TOUR 2012", on July 4th.
