On June 10th, actress Iwasa Mayuko revealed on TBS's "Sunday Japon" that she is currently dating a normal, non-celebrity man.

When asked for her thoughts on the marriage conference for Oriental Radio's Nakata Atsuhiko and talento Fukuda Moe, she said with a smile, "To put it simply, I'm jealous. Would I want to [get married]? I would really love to." This prompted the host to ask her if she had a boyfriend, to which she replied, "Yes. He's a normal company employee who's older than me, a non-celebrity�guy." According to those close to the actress, the man in question met Iwasa through a mutual acquaintance.

Although it was rumored that Iwasa was dating actor Kubozuka Shunsuke last summer, in May the actress revealed that things had ended between the two of them with said,� "I've experienced a lot of different things, so I'd like to have a quiet, settled down romance [next time]."
