On June 5th, it was revealed that visual kei rock band HERO will be providing the opening theme song for the anime "FAIRY TAIL" beginning on July 7th.

The band had previously been featured in the ending scene of an episode of "FAIRY TAIL" and will now be moving on to providing the theme song for the anime, the first time for HERO. "When I started chasing after my dream of being in a band, I was talking with my friends and told them, 'In the future I'd love to do a theme song for an anime.' My dream's finally come true!" said vocalist JIN with delight.

The new opening theme song will be "Te no Hira", which HERO will be releasing as a single on August 15th. "We're nervous that a lot of people will be hearing our song from now on. We made it with all the strength we had, so please listen to it," commented JIN on HERO's new song.

"FAIRY TALE" is a popular manga currently running in "Weekly Shounen Magazine", and revolves around the main character Lucy, a teen witch who grows up as she completes missions for monetary rewards.
