Popular singer JUJU recently announced through her official website that her upcoming song "Arigatou" has been picked up as the theme song to the movie, "Tsunagu".

"Arigatou" is the title track of her latest single, which is scheduled for a release on October 10th, just four days after the movie opens in theaters on October 6th. The lyrics were written by Satomi (who also worked on Nakashima Mika's "Yuki no Hana" and Shibasaki Kou's "Tsuki no Shizuku"), while the song itself was composed by Kawaguchi Daisuke. The arrangement was provided by Tsutaya Kouichi.

"It's such a huge honor [to have my song chosen] as the theme song for a movie starring Matsuzaka Tori," said JUJU of her latest tie-up. "This song, 'Arigatou'... is one that is very precious to me as I've been cherishing it for about seven years. It's a song that illustrates the importance of bonds between people, so I hope it'll be a song that people can sympathize with the 'thank you' felt for having been able to meet people who money can't buy."
