On August 5th, actress Hashimoto Ai (16) held a handshake event to commemorate the release of her first photo book, 'Ai no Furu Hoshi'.

Hashimoto shared, "When I look back at my 14-year-old self, it makes me think about how young I used to be. Now, I'm often mistaken as a 20-year-old, so I miss being young." She continued, "Even when I walk together with a 20-year-old friend, I look older, so I'm a little confused. Of course, I'd like to be seen as young."

'Ai no Furu Hoshi' is a documentary photo book that follows Hashimoto's life since she was 14 years old. It features a 10,000-word interview with the actress as well as her own reviews for her starring films.

Hashimoto formerly belonged to a badminton club and she shows off her badminton skills in the upcoming film, 'Kirishima, Bukatsu Yamerutte yo'. She commented on Fujii Mizuki and Kakiiwa Reika, who won the silver medal for women's badminton doubles in the London Olympics. "I was planning on watching it, but before I knew it, I was sleeping. Congratulations."

She also stated, "I love the Olympics and I'm rooting for various players. I'm especially keeping an eye out for soccer, I'd like them to win a gold medal."
