Maeda Atsuko will be graduating from AKB48 on August 27th and she just had her final performance on Music Station as an AKB48 member on August 17th. She started tearing up during the MC talk segment, remarking �I feel lonely.� To commemorate her graduation, the group performed a special medley of songs. Mid-performance, Maeda turned to the cameras and gave a message to the viewers, �I made lots of memories on the program. Thank you for letting me do that.� Maeda gave a deep bow with tears rolling down her cheeks.

The ladies sang and danced to a medley of �Flying Get�, �Ponytail to Shushu� and �Yume no Kawa�. As reported previously, �Yume no Kawa� is Maeda�s graduation song that will be included in AKB48's 27th single "Gingham Check" (to be released on the 29th) and this is the first time it is performed. Before the song, Maeda gave a short speech saying, �I�m AKB48�s Maeda Atsuko. With this performance, it�s the last time I will be introducing myself a member of AKB48 on Music Station.� She went on to say, �I still remember that I made a promise with the rest of the members to work hard so that we could come on the program often.� The group then went on to perform �Yume no Kawa�. Maeda cried during the piece and her voice was breaking up by the end. The program returned after a CM break, and emcee Tamori presented a bouquet of flowers to Maeda as she broke down in tears again.

Maeda first appeared on Music Station in 2006 June 9th with AKB48 before their major debut and performed their indies single �Skirt, Hirari�. She was 14 at that time.�Since then, AKB48 has made 23 appearances on the show and Maeda participated in all of them except for their �Ue kara Mariko� performance, when Maeda did not make it to the janken senbatsu group. On top of this, Maeda also appeared on Music Station twice as a soloist.
