Actress Nagasaku Hiromi and AKB48's Oshima Yuko have been chosen as the CM characters for Kao's hair treatment shampoo, 'Essential Damage Care'. They will be starring in the new CMs starting August 9th.

This marks Nagasaku's first time in 13 years to star in a CM for the brand as she has previously served as their CM character from 1998 to 1999. The CM will come in 2 different versions: "Tabaneta Kami" and "Nobashi Kake". In the CMs, the ladies each show off their damage-free hair upon using the product.

After undergoing a renewal, 'Essential Damage Care' will be releasing 2 new line-up of shampoos "Nuance Airy" and "Rich Premier" on August 11th.
