On September 23, ?-ute�s Yajima Maimi (20) and other cast members appeared at a press conference for their stage play �CAT�S EYE� (runs until September 30) at the Sunshine Theater in Higashi Ikebukuro, Tokyo.

The stage play is based on the popular manga of the same name, and Anri (51), who sang the theme song �CAT�S EYE�, for the anime version broadcast in 1983, appeared as a special guest at the press conference. Anri appeared moved as she praised Yajima, who plays the second sister Hitomi in a family of three mysterious thieving sisters, saying, �It is great to see these girls who are like my babies star in the play.�

Yajima, who sings the same song in the play, showed deep emotion as she said, �I was not yet born when the anime was broadcast, but the song is famous.�
