Raphael to release their first single in 12 years
Visual kei band Raphael will be releasing their first single in 12 years, "eternal wish ~Todokanu Kimi e~", under the name 'Raphael -Starring Kazuki-' on October 31st.
Raphael made their major debut in 1999, and accomplished their first Nippon Budokan concert in March of 2000 at only 18 years old. With the unexpected death of leader Kazuki (G), the band put a halt to their activities after wrapping up their nationwide tour in January of 2001.
The upcoming release will be a re-recording of the band's 1999 single, "eternal wish ~Todokanu Kimi e~". It will also contain 3 unreleased tracks "Dear", "Haikei Nervous", and "Elf no Yuutsu". Additionally, the limited edition will come with a DVD with the video clip for the title track.
Raphael is also scheduled to hold a live concert titled 'Tenshi no Hinokibutai' on October 31st and November 1st. Tickets for both shows are sold out.
