On September 16, singer-songwriter and university student chay (21), who will make her CD debut and release her original song �Hajimete no Kimochi� on October 24 (early distribution on October 19), will cover�Yamashita Tatsuro's (49) hit song �Koukiatsu Girl� (1983) as a coupling song.

chay was lucky enough to have her song �together� used as the theme song for BS Fuji�s �Nadeshiko League Relay� back in April before her planned debut, but �Koukiatsu Girl� has also been selected as the ending theme for TBS� special drama �Reset~Hontou no Shiawase no Mitsukekata~� (Sunday 9 PM) that will be broadcast on September 30.

Holding her demo tape with the song, chay, who met with Yamashita, expressed her thanks with, �I heard Tatsuro-san�s song through my father, and I am thankful to be able to cover such a legendary musician�s song.� She expressed her aspirations, saying, �My goal is to stand on the same stage next to Tatsuro-san as a major artist.�
