On November 1st, child actress Ashida Mana attended a Christmas illumination lighting ceremony at Omotesando Hills.

Ashida appeared in front of the crowd wearing a princess dress while being escorted by a prince. "It's like a dream! I've always wanted to dress like a princess, so I'm happy," she expressed.

Wearing a dress she was unused to, Ashida had a hard time climbing up the stairs toward the illumination tree. The crowd shouted words of encouragement such as "do your best, Mana-chan!"

After safely making it to the top, the prince placed a tiara atop Ashida's head and the illumination lit up. As cheers arose, Ashida said, "It's so beautiful. I'm surprised at how much it glistens."
