On December 24, actress Minami Kaho (48) appeared at a press conference in Osaka for her starring role in the upcoming�NHK-BS Premium Drama �Tadaima Kaa-san� (to be aired next year starting February 24 at 10 PM).

She spoke about her quick agreement to the offer, confessing that �the script was the best I received this year.�� In a typical year, she would be traveling with her husband, actor Watanabe Ken (53), around this time, but she spoke favorably about her temporary 'separation'. �My family went skiing.� Even though we do not have a break from filming for Christmas, it is not a bad thing," she said. "I am enjoying [filming.]�
