Arashi's Sakurai Sho will be the MC on TBS' new talk variety show "FACE TV (tentative title)" along with comedian Ariyoshi Hiroiki.

This will be the first time for Sakurai to be the MC of a variety program alone without his members. According to the officials, some seasonal guests from various fields, such as show biz, sports, or the academic field, will appear on the show, to share their stories.

Sakurai is serving as the Monday's caster on "NEWS ZERO" (NTV), and also served as the main caster for NTV' "2012 London Olympic." �Also, as Arashi, he will be participating on NHK's "Kohaku Uta Gassen" as the white team's host. It seems he was appointed as the MC for his has abundant experiences under his belt.

On the same time slot, TBS has been airing Arashi's variety show "Himitsu no Arashi-chan!" since April of 2008, and according to a participant from TBS, "As it'll be reaching its 5th year, it (Himitsu no Arashi-chan!) has played an important role, and �has reached a certain point as a popular show. The time slot will be getting more powerful in a new form."

"FACE TV (tentative title)" will start airing in April of next year (every Thursday at 10:00 pm).
