m.o.v.e has announced that they will disband after releasing a best-of album "Best moves.~and move goes on~" on February 27th, and holding a free live at Akasaka BLITZ on March 16th.

According to the announcement, after reaching the 15th anniversary since debut, they have had a lot of discussion about their next plans, and eventually concluded on disbandment. At first, their best-of album was scheduled to be released on December 19th with the title "Best moves." to commemorate the 15th anniversary; however, with the decision of the disbandment, the album release has been postponed to February with the new title "Best moves.~and move goes on~." �The best-of album will encompass the full career of of m.o.v.e's, as well as 5 new tracks. Their last live in March titled "m.o.v.e The Last Show ?Champagne Fight?" will be held for free for those who purchase the best-of album.

m.o.v.e made their debut in 1997, and they have released 31 singles and 11 original albums so far. They are best known for singing many of popular anime "Initial�D"s theme songs.
