On December 22nd, it was announced that comedian Miyasako Hiroyuki of Ameagari Kesshitai was discharged from the hospital.

As reported earlier, Miyasako received surgery for laparoscopic pyloromyotomy removal on the 7th after being diagnosed with stomach cancer. Through his agency, he commented, "The recovery was unbelievably speedy. People who came to visit would tell me, 'I came worried about you, but it was a wasted trip'. I will be able to show my healthy self to everyone soon, so please look forward to it."

According to his agency, Miyasako was discharged on the 22nd at 11:00 am. Although the surgery required removal of two-thirds of his stomach, his condition after surgery has been excellent. Hereafter, he will get periodical examination from the doctor and recuperate at home.
