Sato Eriko and Kitamura Kazuki talk about their kiss scene at event for 'Night People'

On January 26, actress Sato Eriko (31) and co-star Kitamura Kazuki (43) appeared at an opening day event for their film “Night People” (directed by Kadoi Hajime) at Cinemart Shinjuku in Tokyo.

The film revolves around a beautiful, yet mysterious woman (Sato) who extorts 200 million Yen from a big-name politician. The film builds in suspense as a bar owner (Kitamura) falls in love with her. When asked about her kiss scene with Kitamura, Sato responded with discontent, “According to the script, it was supposed to be a deep, rich kiss, but it was more like ‘Chuu’ [a peck]…”

Kitamura cringed as he said, “There were many people on-location when we filmed the scene, so I don't remember too much about it…”
