V6's new single "ROCK YOUR SOUL" sold 55,000 copies in the first week, and topped Oricon's weekly single chart for the week of January 7th.

This was the first time in 2 years and 4 months for the group to top a single or album chart since they last topped the single chart with "only dreaming/Catch" (released in September 2010).

It was also their 25th chart topping single overall. With this accomplishment, for 19 consecutive years they've had at least one single in the top 10.

The title track "ROCK YOUR SOUL" is the image song for the popular game "Shin Hokuto Musou", and it also includes "Music Life" which is the ending theme song for their variety show "Gacha Gacha V6" as the coupling song.
