Ishida Hélène gives birth to her first child

On February 4th, NTV sent out a fax to media outlets stating that announcer Ishida Hélène had given birth to her first child.

According to the announcement, Ishida gave birth to a healthy baby boy on February 1st at a hospital in Tokyo. Ishida commented, "After safely giving birth, I am filled with gratitude for this new life and everyone who has supported me." She also expressed, "Through this valuable experience, I hope to grow as a mother and an announcer."

Ishida married a non-celebrity man on April 1st of last year. She announced her pregnancy on the September 24th broadcast of 'Sukkiri!', and has been on maternity leave since December.
