On March 3, idol group Berryz Kobo appeared at the live event "Hello! Project Haru no Dai Kansha-sai Hinamatsuri Festival 2013~Berryz Kobo 10-nen me Totsunyuu Special!~" held at Pacifico Yokohama. During the first talk segment, a member Tsugunaga Momoko said with a smile, "Time sure flies fast~. The bond between Berryz Kobo members have grown much stronger over the past 9 years." Captain Shimizu Saki then expressed her gratitude toward each member which brought tears into the girls' eyes.
Tsugunaga also said, "Now if I think about it, I spent nearly half of my life as a member of Berryz Kobo, and I am happy about it. From here on, we will keep trying our best until our 10th, 20th, or even 100th anniversary! I have no intention of stop being an idol!" Kumai Yurina who is the tallest member in the group, said, "Berryz Kobo is full of memories. When I looked at the photos back then, we were all about the same height. I realized how much I grew."
At the event, it was announced that Berryz Kobo will be the cheer leaders for upcoming anime film "PreCure All Stars NewStage 2 : Kokoro no Tomodachi" (to open in theaters on March 16th), and the group's upcoming 31st single "Asian Celebration" (to be released on March 13th) has been chosen as the support song for the movie.
