Check out the trailer for "Kuroyuri Danchi" starring Maeda Atsuko & Narimiya Hiroki
The new trailer for the upcoming horror movie "Kuroyuri Danchi" ( "The Complex" for English title), which stars Maeda Atsuko and Narimiya Hiroki, has been released.
As reported earlier, this is Nakata Hideo’s (best known as the director of “Ring”) first horror movie in 6 years, and it is set in a decrepit multi-unit apartment called “Kuroyuri Danchi” where mysterious deaths occur repeatedly over 13 years. It depicts terrifying incidents that happen to “Ninomiya Asuka” (Maeda), who recently moved in without knowing about the fact, and a special sanitary worker, “Sasahara Shinobu” (Narimiya), who happens to visit the apartment in order to clean up the belongings of an old person who died alone.
Prior to its release on May 18th, there will be a spin-off drama titled "Kuroyuri Danchi ~Josho~" that will start airing on April 9th on TBS (also on April 12th on MBS). The drama will be 'episode zero', and the director for the movie, Nakata, will be participating as the general supervisor for the drama as well.
