It's been revealed that singer/actor Hoshino Gen will be providing his song, "Gag", as the theme song for the upcoming anime film, 'Saint Oniisan' (May 10th release).

'Saint Oniisan' is a comedy manga series by Nakamura Hikaru which has been serialized in the manga magazine, 'Morning Two', since 2007. Moriyama Mirai will voice the role 'Jesus' and Hoshino will make his voice acting debut with the role 'Buddha'.

Hoshino commented, "I strung together both the alternative and pop within me. This song, that I came up with while reading the manga I love, I offer it to every manga artist and animation production staff."

Hoshino recently made his radio comeback after receiving surgery for subarachnoid hemorrhage in late-December.
