On March 29, Sugiura Taiyo and Tsuji Nozomi, who welcomed their third child into the world earlier this month on March 21, revealed on their blog that they named their newborn son �Sora.�

They explained that on the day of his birth, �We looked to the sky and saw the sun shining radiantly and the overflow of strength from the sky.�� Therefore, �We decided on a combination of the words �sun,� heavens', and �sky,� to come up with �Sora.�� [The first character in �Sora� is comprised of the characters for �sun� and �heavens,� while the second character is the word for �sky.�]

The couple named their oldest daughter, who was born in 2007, �Noa,� and their oldest son, who was born in 2010, �Seia.� All their children have the character for �sky� as the second character of their name.
