Girls' unit E-girls released their first album "Lesson 1" on April 17, and it topped Oricon's weekly album ranking chart after selling 57,000 copies during the first week. This is the very first time for the group to top the chart since their debut back in December 2011.
Member Ami commented, "We've only experienced the No.2 spot up until now, and we had frustrating thoughts about it, so we are really happy to be able to top the chart for the very first time! Without being satisfied with this, we will continue working hard to go even higher toward our next goals." Shizuka also commented, "We now want to try our best toward E-girls' next dream that is to hold our solo live tour."
