On June 18, dance vocal group Lead which became a 3-member group as their leader Nakadoi Hiroki graduated the group back in March, held a release event for their 21st single "Upturn." At the event, Lead performed total 3 songs including the new single "Upturn."
In between the performances, the members received a banner that was filled with messages from the fans. It was a surprise present from the fans that they wanted to wish the members good luck for Lead's 'second chapter.'
A member Furuya Keita said while shedding tears, "I am really happy. Thank you."
The three who made a new start, revealed that they would not decide a new leader, as each member should lead the group. They also talked about their big goal in front of the audience of 2000, "It would be great to hold a live at bigger venue. I want to do it at the Nippon Budokan."
