BUMP OF CHICKEN's new song, "Niji wo Motsu Hito", will be released digitally via iTunes, Recochoku, and other music distribution sites on August 21st.  

"Niji wo Motsu Hito" was picked up as the theme song for movie, 'Gatchaman', which will open in theaters on August 24th. Regarding this collaboration, the members commented, "We feel very honored that the song, 'Niji wo Motsu Hito', which is filled with the things we want to do most right now, has been chosen as the theme song. Please listen to it in the movie." 

The jacket artwork for "Niji wo Motsu Hito" was done by photographer Ninagawa Mika, who also did the artwork for their best-of albums, "BUMP OF CHICKEN I [1999-2004]" and "BUMP OF CHICKEN II [2005-2010]", released on July 3rd.
