This is the latest installment of Tokyohive's regular Drama Prime Time Report giving you a detailed look at the prime time ratings with a focus on the weekly dramas.

Only a few spring dramas were left to entertain us last week. In fact, there were only two prime time dramas left and both of them already aired on Monday.

'Kakusho ~ Keishicho Sousa 3 Ka' ended without much of a bang and failed to positively affect its season-average to perhaps overcome the 10% mark. The extended final episode of 'Galileo' also didn't manage to repeat the ratings from the beginning of the season, which was partially caused by the various specials on the other networks. Therefore it "only" ended up with a season-average short below the 20% mark.

The first sign of the upcoming summer season already appeared last week with the premiere of NHK's very mysterious drama 'Gekiryu ~ Watashi wo Oboete Imasuka?' starring a great 5-man cast, which consists of Tanaka Rena, Kuninaka Ryoko, Tomosaka Rie, Kiritani Kenta, and Yamamoto Koji.

Meanwhile, two special dramas tried to fill in for the lack of weekly dramas. 'Kaibutsu' (NTV) - starring Sato Koichi, Mukai Osamu, Tabe Mikako - and 'Kijo' (Fuji TV) starring Fujiyama Naomi among others.

(NTV is the only network that still discloses all of their ratings on a daily base. If anything, the other networks only reveal the ratings for their dramas regularly.)
