Popular Korean unit Tohoshinki's new single "SCREAM" is now the theme song of the upcoming horror film 'Sadako 3D 2'.
The infamous black-haired horror icon Sadako, who proved in last year's 'Sadako 3D' that her cursed video has survived the digital age and that she's up-to-date with cloud computing, is back with a sequel to its first 3D horror action film. The 'Ring' franchise is loved worldwide, and Tohoshinki can boast a huge following as well, which is why it was described to be a logical choice for the producers to approach the unit for the theme song.
"SCREAM" is going to be another intense dance number by the duo and feature lyrics somewhat related to the film's general image. The duo stated that an intense song is the perfect choice for the world of Sadako and that there is no better match for horror films than a nice mixture of dance and rock tunes. Changmin added, "I hope that Sadako and this song are going to make a lot of people scream this summer!"
Aside from its domestic release on August 30, 'Sadako 3D 2' is also already scheduled to open in 5 more countries, including South Korea, Hong Kong, and Russia. More countries are currently in talks to show the movie, and the collaboration with Tohoshinki is a nice addition to make the whole world scream.
