This is Tokyohive's regular Drama Prime Time Report that gives you a detailed look at the prime time ratings with a focus on the weekly dramas.

The highest rated show on Monday was NTV's special of 'Sekai Maru Mie! TV Tokusobu' (13.5%), followed by a great performance of 'Ippunkan no Fukaii Hanashi' on the same network (13.4%) and NHK's 'Tsurube no Kazoku ni Kanpai' (13.3%). The last episode of Fuji TV's 'Generation Tengoku' didn't attract more viewers and left almost unnoticed. Will the next show be able to achieve better ratings that are at least on the level of 'HEY! HEY! HEY!'? Meanwhile, the TBS drama 'Inpei Sousa' delivered its best performance yet with a rating of 8.8% (+2.5). Fuji TV's getsu9 drama 'Shitsuren Chocolatier' remains stable at 11.4% (-0.3).

Tuesday featured some mediocre ratings that barely peaked at 13.0% with a 'Kaiketsu! Ninety-Nine' special on NTV and 'London Hearts' on TV Asahi. The two Fuji TV's drama 'Fukuie Keibuho no Aisatsu' (9.1%; +1.2) and 'Team Batista 4' (10.4%; -0.5) did okay compared to the rest.

The Blue Samurai and Nadeshiko national football (soccer) teams of Japan tested their condition against New Zealand (men) and the USA (women). Of course those live broadcasts secured some of the highest ratings during the prime time (up to 17%). The battle of the 10pm dramas continues to be fierce with NTV drama 'Ashita, Mama ga Inai' recording 11.8% (=0.0) and Fuji TV drama 'Boku no Ita Jikan' achieving 11.3% (+0.3). 'Ashita, Mama ga Inai' is already coming to an end next week, but it has to be careful not to get overtaken by the latter.

On Thursday, Fuji TV's variety-talk show 'Tunnels no Minasan no Okage Deshita' featured Japan's ski jumping legend Kasai Noriaki and jumped at the top of the prime time ratings (14.5%). Drama 'Kinkyu Torishirabe Shitsu' (TV Asahi) went up by a few points again and recorded a rating of 12.6% (0.7%). Fuji TV drama 'Iryu 4' managed to maintain its high level from last week (13.2%; -0.1).
