Nakagawa Shoko is getting ready to release her new album "9lives" on April 2nd. As the bonus track for the album, she will be covering her late father Nakagawa Katsuhiko's song "Last Wish -Onaji Iro no Christmas-". She worked on it with guitarist Char who was also the co-composer of the song. 

During the March 27th broadcast of Nico Nico Namahousou's 'Shokotan no Wo', Nakagawa stated, "This will be the first and last time singing my father's song." She then expressed, "I thought my father back then was wandering astray, but when I heard stories from Char-san, I was happy to hear that he used to sing this song very happily." She also shared an episode from the recording studio, "Char-san played the guitar over and over until I was satisfied with it. At the end, he gave me the hat he had intended to give my father." 

"Last Wish -Onaji Iro no Christmas-" was released in November of 1986, when Nakagawa was just 1-year old. Her father passed away in 1994 at the age of 32 due to acute leukimia.
