On May 21, it was reported that AKB48 member Kizaki Yuria fractured her left wrist during the rehearsal for a professional wrestling project 'Mecha Nippon Joshi Pro Wrestling', a part of Fuji TV's variety program 'Mecha�2 Iketeru!'.

According to Fuji TV, Kizaki was diagnosed with "fracture of the left distal radius" at a hospital in Tokyo and is required 3-4 weeks for complete recovery. In addition, they commented, "We placed utmost care and attention on the safety of this project, but we are terribly sorry for what happened to Kizaki-san. We pray that she will recover as soon as possible." They stressed, "In future program productions, we will strive for more thorough safety management." 

There will be no changes to Kizaki's schedule. She will continue to carry out her activities as scheduled.
