It's been reported that violinist Miyamoto Emiri gave birth to her first child on May 12.

Miyamoto reported the birth of her 2604g (5 lb 11 oz) baby girl through her official blog. "It was a little earlier than expected, but I'm filled with joy and happiness to meet my dear daughter like this," she expressed. She also thanked the doctors, her family, staff, friends, and fans for their support. "I want to start anew one step at a time," she concluded.�

Miyamoto married a non-celebrity man in August 2012. She announced that she was 5-months pregnant in December of last year.
