In order to pray and wish for the success for his upcoming TV Asahi drama "Nobunaga no Chef", Kis-My-Ft2's Tamamori Yuta recently visited Oda Nobunaga's grave at Honnoji in Kyoto.
In the drama, Tamamori plays protagonist Ken who goes travels through time to the Sengoku era and ends up becoming the samurai warlord Nobunaga's personal chef. He commented, "My body tenses up just being here. However, I hope we would try not to come here at all for the drama! If the "Honnouji Incident"* happens, the story would end right there."
Tamamori commented, "This is already the second season of the drama, and Ken has mostly gotten used to the Sengoku era. He is now able to answer the unreasonable requests of his master too. Now that the drama is in the Golden Time period, I hope more people from all ages will get to enjoy this drama and come to like history."
*Note: The "Honnoji Incident" is said to be when Oda Nobunaga was forced into suicide at the temple (Honnoji).
