Popular idol group AKB48 just released their new photo book "AKB48 no Inu Kyoudai", which the members teamed up with dogs, on June 30.
In the photo book, the girls reveal many photos like they did dog cosplay or dressed in swimwear while playing with dogs.
The reason why Watanabe Mayu, who took first place in the General Elections, did not appear on the front cover was because, "Mayuyu doesn't like dogs, and although she tried really hard, her smiles were all stiffened in the pictures that came out. Instead, we picked Paruru who worked very well with her own pet dog and had a nice smile for the cover."
On top of pictures of members doing dog cosplay and playing with their dogs, the book also features members such as "next generation ace" Kojima Mako, Nishino Miki and Okada Nana holding a pajama party and talking about their beloved pet dogs.
