Abe Mao has announced that she registered her marriage on January 4.

Abe's husband is her tour manager Iizuka Akira. Sources say that the two had been dating for quite some time. On her official blog, Abe stated, "I will make a new start with this irreplaceable and important person as my companion. By expressing things I see and feel in my own way, I will increasingly apply myself to delivering even better works to everyone."
