Popular group Kanjani8 member Shibutani Subaru released his solo debut single "Kioku / Kokoro Odoreba" on February 11. According to Oricon, the single sold 101,000 copies during the first week, and it topped their latest weekly single ranking.

This is the first time in 8 months for a solo singer to top the single ranking since it was last achieved by Kim Hyun Joong with "HOT SUN" (released in April 2014).

Both of the title tracks are the theme songs for Shibutani Subaru's starring film "Mizono Universe" (opened on February 14). The limited edition comes with a DVD that contains the music video to "Kioku", while its regular edition includes two bonus tracks "Nokkari Train" and "Mamori Uta", which were both written and composed by Shibutani himself.
