With this album, the band proved their long-standing popularity as they have topped the album ranking for 4 consecutive decades with 7 albums in the 1980s, 7 albums in the 1990s, 2 albums in 2000s, and the latest album in the 2010s.Though 6 solo artists have accomplished the same previously (Tokunaga Hideaki, Kuwata Keisuke, Yamashita Tatsuro, Matsutoya Yumi, Himuro Kyosuke, and Takeuchi Mariya), Southern All Stars is the first one to do so as a group.
"Budo" contains a total of 16 tracks including "Piece to Highlight" -- their comeback single after an indefinite hiatus -- their latest single "Tokyo VICTORY", and more.
