It's been reported that Moonriders' Takekawa Masahiro (Violin, Tp, Cho) has been hospitalized due to acute aortic dissection. 

On June 18, Takekawa felt ill at home and was transported to the hospital by ambulance. After running some tests, he was diagnosed with acute aortic dissection, which is a life-threatening disorder that affects the main artery of the body. Since then, he has undergone emergency surgery. He is now fighting the illness in the intensive care unit while being surrounded by family and medical staff. 

Due to his hospitalization, his appearances in Kato Tokiko's concert in Hokkaido and Agata Morio's upcoming tour as well as his solo concerts have been canceled. His future activities and his condition after surgery will be announced via Moonriders' official Facebook page.
