On March 10, Hamasaki Ayumi introduced her new family member via Instagram. She uploaded a video of her new puppy, a Yorkshire Terrier, and said, "I'm a part of this family starting today. My name is Oreo." 

Hamasaki is a dog lover, and she often shares photos of her dogs with her fans. Earlier in January, she revealed a photo of her three dogs "Cocoa", "Crea", and "Papiko" sitting neatly in a row. She also commented on one of her dogs missing from the picture, "Where did Choco-chan go?" 

On her new dog "Oreo", fans left comments such as "So cute," "The name Oreo is perfect," and "I want to see a photo of you and Oreo."
