On June 26, GACKT revealed via Instagram that he was in the hospital. 

While he didn't share the reason for his hospitalization, GACKT wrote, "I'm getting discharged. Being in the hospital is tough. It really gets to you mentally. Okay, I'm feeling dizzy because I haven't eaten all day. I'm going to get me some coffee. Thank you to my nurses." 

Many fans showed their concerns especially because GACKT had been posting videos of his work out sessions recently.
