<p>It has been announced <strong>TOKIO</strong> will be releasing their new album &#8216;<strong>17</strong>&#8216; on August 22nd. It will be their first full album in 6 years, after releasing their  full album &#8216;<strong>Harvest</strong>&#8216; back in 2006.</p>
<p>This album will contain 17 songs to commemorate their 17th anniversary since their debut, and each of the six members wrote and composed the new songs for this memorable album. The album comes in 3 version, limited edition, regular edition and the first pressed version of regular edition. The limited edition contain 11 singles and 6 new songs. Regular and first press version will contain 8 singles and 6 new songs[same as limited edition].</p>
<p>It has not been revealed much about the detail of those new songs, but one of the song &#8220;<strong>archive</strong>&#8221; is written and arranged by <strong>Nagase Tomoya.</strong> &#8220;archive&#8221; music video will be in the limited edition DVD.</p>

<p>This new summer song will be included in her remix album &#8216;<strong>Beach Mix</strong>&#8216; which is scheduled to hit stores on August 1st. The PV incorporates the use of CG with colorful and eye catching visuals.</p>
<p>Koda stated &#8220;<em>The music video has been created perfectly for the summer. A lot of things and images pop up in the PV, so I think it won&#8217;t make you bored even after watching it many times. I hope everyone will enjoy watching it.</em>&#8221;</p>

<p><strong>AKB48</strong> announced that they will be holding the &#8216;<strong>AKB48 29th Single Senbatsu Janken Tournament&#8217;</strong> on September 18th at Nippon Budokan. This announce was made during a handshake event of their latest single &#8220;<strong>Manatsu no Sounds good!</strong>&#8221; in Saitama Super Arena on June 24th.</p>
<p><strong>In 2010, </strong><strong>Uchida Mayumi</strong> was the winner of first tournament and got a center of 19th single &#8220;<strong>Chance no Junban</strong>&#8220;, and last year, <strong>Shinoda Mariko</strong> got a center of 24th single &#8220;<strong>Ue Kara Mariko</strong>&#8221; as the winner of the second tournament.</p>
<p>66 official members of AKB48 as well as <strong>SKE48 </strong>(AKB48)&#8217;s <strong>Matsui Jurina</strong> and<strong> NMB48 </strong>(AKB48)&#8217;s  <strong>Watanabe Miyuki</strong> will directly start with the main tournament. One research student from AKB48, 8 girls from SKE48, 6 girls from NMB48, and 3 girls from HKT48 will be join the main tournament after their own team&#8217;s primary tournament.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.tokyohive.com/2012/06/akb48s-sashihara-rino-moved-to-hkt48-because-of-the-scandal/" target="_self"> As previously reported</a>, <strong>Sashihara Rino</strong> had transfered to HKT48, so she will be trying to get into 3 member of HKT48 at primary tournament to then join the main tournament.</p>
<p>At the handshake event, 6 of AKB48&#8217;s research students, <strong>Izuta Rina</strong>, <strong>Kobayashi Marina</strong>, <strong>Fujita Nana</strong> from the 10th generation, <strong>Kojima Natsuki</strong>, <strong>Natori Wakana</strong>, <strong>Morikawa Ayaka</strong> from 11th generation were promoted to official membership of AKB48.</p>

<p>The guitarist of the visual kei air band <strong>Golden Bomber</strong>, <strong>Kyan Yutaka </strong>attended an event for selling advance tickets of the upcoming movie &#8216;<strong>Shi ga Futari wo Wakatsu Made&#8230;</strong>&#8216;</p>
<p>As Kyan&#8217;s debut movie and first role as the male lead, Kyan shared his experiences in the new situation. Regarding the lack of visual kei make-up in the film, the musician-actor shared with a bitter smile, &#8220;<em>I didn&#8217;t feel embarrassed [without make-up], but I&#8217;m pretty sure that I will be criticized on 2ch</em><em>,&#8221; referring to an online forum popular in Japan. &#8220;<em>I&#8217;m scared.</em>&#8220;</em></p>
<p>He also confessed that members of Golden Bomber had been strongly against his acting debut, sharing, &#8220;<em>They said, &#8216;Just leave our band!&#8217; and I considered parting from the band in anger.</em>&#8221; He continued with a laugh, &#8220;<em>I&#8217;ll quit the band when this movie is released!</em>&#8221;</p>
<p>Kyan plays the role of a reticent professional killer, and quite fittingly attended the event wearing a ragged tee with fake blood. &#8220;<em>I just murdered someone recently,</em>&#8221; he joked. &#8220;<em>I came here after my duty.</em>&#8221;</p>
