    Famous animation director Ishiguro Noboru passed away on March 20th (JST) at the age of 73 at Kawasaki Hospital. Ishiguro was famous for his direction in popular animation titles Macross, Space Battleship Yamato, Megazone 23, and Legend of the Galactic Heroes.     Novelist Sakuraba Kazuki's "Fuse - A Girl Gunslinger's Detective Story" has been given the green light for an original animation this fall.
