AKB48’s Nakagawa & Oota injure their hands

AKB48 and Watarirouka Hashiritai members Nakagawa Haruka and Oota Aika, injured their hands on the AKB48 television show on September 23rd.

The girls were participating on their TV Tokyo show “Shuukan AKB,” when they were injured during a ball game segment. Oota was sent to a doctor for diagnosis and treatment for her right hand, which forced her to miss part one of their handshake event. Part two of the handshake event was held later in the day and it was announced that her attendance in the event would depend on the doctor’s decision.

Japanese hip-hop group, SOUL’d OUT has announced their participation for an upcoming music event titled BEAT CONNECTION 2010. The members of SOUL’d OUT, Diggy-MO’, EdgePlayer:Bro.Hi, and S’capade:Shinnosuke were all putting full effort in their solo activities in the past years. It has been two years since they last performed in JIN ROCK FESTIVAL 2008 as a group.


Angela Aki adds more tour stops due to high demand

Angela Aki will be starting her year end “MY KEYS PLUS + TOUR 2010 LIFE” tour soon, and has decided to open up additional seats for sale at her shows to better accommodate her fans.

The idea behind the added seats was that she wanted as many fans as possible to participate in her concerts. The extra seats will be provided for the October 13th show at Kanagawa Prefecture Hall, and the November 11th show at Tokyo’s NHK Hall, which will now have two nights of shows. Both concerts will go on sale tomorrow on September 25th at 10 am at Play Guide.

Angela Aki’s new tour is in celebration of her new album, “LIFE,” and the fifth anniversary of her major debut. As always, the concert will feature her singing while playing the piano.
