Former talento Nakanishi Mona (maiden name: Yamamoto) has announced the birth of her 1st child!

Through her official blog, Nakanishi reported that she delivered her baby on July 10th at 5:29 pm weighing 4,278 grams (9lbs. 6oz.).

She wrote, “She was a bigger baby than I expected,” and revealed that she had to undergo a cesarean section. She also expressed, ”For the time being, I will relax. I was able to do my best because of everyone’s comments. Thank you.”

Nakanishi married a non-celebrity man in August of 2010. She announced her pregnancy through her blog back in November.

Pop group KAT-TUN has finally unveiled their PVs for “Birth” and “Star Rider“!

“Birth” utilizes great aerial shots of the city. When combined with scenes of the members contemplating a mysterious little box, it gives off the feel of an exciting urban adventure.

“Star Rider”, on the other hand, is a straightforward dance MV that focuses heavily on the group’s choreography.

Tip: Nee Jyanpu

On November 25th, KAT-TUN attended the press conference for their new CM with Suzuki, where they announced that they’ll be holding a nationwide tour starting on Feburary 11th, 2012. It will be their first nationwide tour in 2 years, and so they’ll be visiting 12 cities, including Niigata, Nagoya, and Tokyo.

The pop group revealed that they’re planning to hold the tour’s final stage in disaster-stricken Sendai, thus becoming the first  Johnny & Associates group to hold a concert there after the Tohoku earthquake. It’s a long-awaited live for both the group and their fans, since the earthquake forced the cancellation of KAT-TUN’s first 5 Dome tour and big open-air live event.

“Everybody, we are sorry to have kept you waiting so long,” said member Kamenashi Kazuya.”Let’s have fun together sharing the same time and atmosphere.”

The group also announced that they’ll be inviting fans backstage, should they purchase their new single ,”BIRTH“, and win the random lottery.

KAT-TUN will be endorsing Suzuki SOLIO’s specially-designed car, whose design was inspired by KAT-TUN’s new song, “STAR RIDER“. “STAR RIDER” will be included in both their upcoming single and CM.

Heads up, KAT-TUN fans: it’s been announced that band will be releasing a new track titled “BIRTH” as the theme song for Kame’s upcoming drama, ‘Yokai Ningen Bem‘ (‘Humanoid Monster Bem’)!

‘Yokai Ningen Bem’, which will be a live-action drama adapted from an anime, centers on the lives of Bem, Bera and Berro, three yokai (spirits) who fight against other yokai and monsters that attack humans. Kame in particular will be starring as Bem, alongside actress Anne and child actor Suzuki Fuku who will play Bera and Berro, respectively.

With the recent promotional photos that have been released with this announcement,  Kame had heads turning with his new silver locks. It’s been revealed that Kame did not dye his hair but simply wore a wig for the photoshoot.

“Yokai Ningen Bem” is schedule to start broadcasting in October and air on Saturday evenings at 9PM.

On September 1st, former Coconuts Musume member Nagate Ayaka made a special announcement on her official blog!

“On Monday, August 29th at 4:27 PM, I gave birth to a healthy 3122 gram (around 7 pounds) boy,” she wrote excitedly. She continued, “He was delivered without problems, and both mother and child are well, so I’m truly very grateful.”

The former singer announced in April that she was pregnant with her first child, after being married to her husband Tanihara Hideto for three years.

On July 25th at 6:37 PM, Kobayashi Mao – the wife of Kabuki actor Ichikawa Ebizo – gave birth to their first daughter. Ebizo was not present at the time due to a stage performance, but both his wife and the baby are in healthy condition. Through his agency, Ebizo commented, “Please watch over us.”

The couple married in March of last year, and Mao’s pregnancy was announced during Ebizo’s suspension after his incident with drinking troubles. Mao’s labor was actually overdue, as her due date was set for July 12th. According to people close to the couple, Ebizo’s father, Ichikawa Danjuuro, is greatly pleased, and the Kabuki world is celebrating the big news.
