    On January 15th, Yoshimoto Creative Agency announced that Hamada Masatoshi from comedian duo Downtown has been diagnosed with influenza A after undergoing a medical examination at the hospital in Tokyo. According to the agency, Hamada started having a high fever since the early morning of the 15th, and the doctor gave a diagnosis that he needs to receive medical treatment at home for 5 days.   • TV Asahi announces MCs for new variety show, "Oh! Doya-gao Summit"

    Starting in April, TV Asahi will introduce a new talk variety program called "Oh! Doya-gao Summit" to their weekly lineup.     Hamada Masatoshi, a popular comedian duo from the comedic duo Downtown stars in a drama titled "Kenji, Onijima Heihachiro" which aired it's first episode on October 22nd.
