  • Check out the PV for Hirai Ken's upcoming single "Kokuhaku"

    The PV of Hirai Ken's upcoming single "Kokuhaku" has been released. The single, which will hit stores on May 30th, is currently a theme song for TV Asahi’s drama, “W no Higeki“, which stars actress Takei Emi. With the theme of "Neo Japonesque Butou(dance)", old Japanese traditions such as Kabuki, Awaodori and Shishimai have been grafted into a modern dance. In the PV, the dancers, who are in Kimonos, hold fans as they dance around Hirai.

    Hirai Ken has announced that he will be releasing his new single, "Kokuhaku", on May 23rd! "Kokuhaku" will be used as the theme song for TV Asahi's upcoming drama, "W no Higeki", which stars actress Takei Emi. This drama is based on a mystery novel by Natsuki Shizuko that was adapted into a film back in 1984.   • Kuraki Mai and Hirai Ken are banned in China?

    China’s Agency for Cultural Affairs has recently put a ban on various songs. Users in China will not be able to search for these songs or download them from music sites, as the country will be removing them. In total, this ban will prohibit people from trial listening to the songs, hearing them on broadcasts, and downloading them.     Today Fuji TV revealed that they are going to produce a Japanese version of the long-running American NBC variety show "Saturday Night Live" with Akashiya Sanma and Imada Koji as the hosts.
